Rumors floating around that the Cubs may be one of the teams interested in him.
Personally, I hope they don't. He's going to be 33 and going on the decline. Has been known to play with a sore back, elbow, etc... How long can he keep that up without going on the DL for a long stint?
Don't get me wrong, Pujols is a hall of famer but I still think his best years are behind him. I hope the Cubs will learn from the Soriano and Bradley signing.
Personally, I like their rebuilding strategy. Go with Tyler Colvin at 1B and let him develop into the player we hope he can be.
